Attorney Dana Blue is on a mission to encourage and strengthen the minority business community by empowering entrepreneurs to understand + exercise their legal options, protect their passions and profits and transform their ideas into assets.
After working in the real estate industry through the crash of ‘08, Dana was forced to pivot from sales to compliance and landed in the fraud investigation sector of the nation’s largest mortgage insurance provider. She became increasingly overwhelmed by the number of victimized borrowers in her casework load- specifically people of color. This compelled Dana to protect and advocate for those who were unequipped to protect themselves against systemic inequality, leading her to pursue a law degree. She attended law school in North Dakota, had twins her final year of school and graduated 3rd in her class.
In 2017, Dana founded Dana Blue Law, a Business Development Virtual Law Firm, providing smart, sensible, and cost-effective legal services and business solutions to small business owners, entrepreneurs and creatives. With her commitment to underserved small businesses, she’s helping bridge the gap and break generational curses despite historical and systemic disparities so WE can secure the resources they need to protect and grow our businesses.
